Deputies Focus on Dangerous Intersection
In its traffic tip for this week, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department will spotlight the intersection of Thousand Oaks Boulevard and North Moorpark Road.
Deputies have logged numerous traffic accidents at the intersection because of drivers who speed or ignore traffic signals.
Throughout the week, officers will aggressively enforce the speed limit and other traffic laws in the area, says Sgt. Ken Bailey.
The department’s Traffic Bureau hopes to reduce the number of accidents through continued education and enforcement, Bailey said.
