Cheers to Photos by Anne Cusack

May I be among the first to publicly endorse Anne Cusack for whatever national award is available for excellence in photography? I became aware of her work with that brilliant shot of the water cascading over the Westlake Dam earlier this year.

But the capper, I think, is this group of snaps accompanying the series of the Thousand Oaks High School’s senior class (“Groomed for Success,” Oct. 6). I don’t know Brett Vogel from Adam, but after seeing his picture, I’m sure I’d like to know him.

The shot of the students in Ellen Droshe’s class tells me that there are some things right with our kids. Keep up the good work, Anne.
