Guard Malik Sealy, who earned good reviews for his role as an arrogant, self-centered basketball player in “Eddie,” may have a career as an actor when he retires.
“The best thing about it was that I got to work out with all the guys that were in it,” Sealy said of the movie. “I got some good workouts in.”
Center Dwayne Schintzius, who played a Russian basketball player in the film, signed with the Clippers as a free agent last month.
“It might be cosmic,” Sealy said. “Whoopi [Goldberg] might become the coach next too, you never know.”
