Burbank Jewelry Maker Retains Stock Advisor

OroAmerica Inc., a Burbank manufacturer and marketer of gold jewelry, said it has retained Koffler & Co. of Los Angeles to advise it on ways to boost the value of its stock.

As part of its services, Koffler will assist OroAmerica in discussions regarding a possible merger with gold jewelry manufacturer Michael Anthony Jewelers Inc. OroAmerica is considering a deal that would give its shareholders $7.50 a share in cash and Michael Anthony stock.
