The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors will decide today whether to offer a $10,000 reward for information in the shooting death of an 11-year-old boy in North Hollywood.

Los Angeles Police Department detectives have no significant leads in the case.

The boy, Paul Youhanian of Santa Clarita, was shot Oct. 5 as he sat in the back seat of his mother’s minivan on Sherman Way.

The family had recently moved from North Hollywood to Santa Clarita.

The bullet, which police believe was fired from a high-powered gun, went through a window before striking the fifth-grader in the head.
