MADE HIS DAY
As a film producer, I got teary-eyed as I read John Balzar’s account of Clint Eastwood and his filmmaking style (“Clint Eastwood, Absolutely,” Oct. 13). After 10 years in this business, I have yet to experience finishing a movie ahead of schedule or see a director print the first take and move on. In a town filled with more megalomaniacal movie directors than movies to direct, it’s no wonder Eastwood’s crew loves to work with him again and again.
One question: Any openings?
