Medstone International Inc.: The Aliso Viejo medical company said net income for the third quarter was $812,386, or 15 cents a share, down 33% from the $1.2 million, or 22 cents a share, for the comparable quarter of the prior year. Revenue was down 19% to $4.3 million from $5.3 million. The 1995 quarter included $161,455 in revenues from Endocare, which was spun off from the company at the end of 1995.

For the first nine months, Medstone reported a net loss of $1.6 million, or 29 cents a share, which included a $5.5-million one-time charge recorded in the second quarter to settle class-action litigation against the company. Net income for the first three quarters of 1995 totaled $3.2 million, or 58 cents a share. Revenue declined 11% to $12.8 million from $14.4 million.
