* Richard A. Foster has resigned as chairman of Datametrics Corp. and has been replaced by Daniel P. Ginns.

Ginns is also president of Belmont Capital Inc., a financial advisory concern.

Datametrics also appointed Adrien A. Maught as interim chief operating officer.

Datametrics, based in Chatsworth, is a maker of high-speed color printers that has struggled for years as it has tried to broaden its sales beyond the defense industry.

* James D. Benhman, 51, has been named president of Litton’s Electron Devices unit in San Carlos, Calif. Benham succeeds John F. Middaugh, 63, who will remain as technical advisor until next year when he retires.

Benham previously was division vice president for business development and marketing.

Litton Industries, based in Woodland Hills, is a major defense contractor.

MiniMed Inc. promoted Terrance H. Gregg to president and chief operating officer.

Gregg previously had been executive vice president for operations.

Gregg, 48, joined the company two years ago. MiniMed is a Sylmar-based maker of infusion pumps used in treating diabetes.

* Pat Richards has been named regional vice president for business development at Ventura County National Bank. She joined the bank in 1989 and has been vice president and manager of the Camarillo branch since 1992.

Richards also is active in several civic groups and nonprofit organizations.
