Odetics Inc.: The Anaheim supplier of digital-data management products and communications equipment said net income for its second fiscal quarter climbed to $1.1 million, or 17 cents a share, from $399,000, or 7 cents a share, a year ago. Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 gained 37% to $33.6 million from $24.5 million. For the six-month period, net income rose to $2.1 million, or 32 cents a share, from $610,000, or 10 cents a share, for the first half last year. Sales increased 40% to $64.4 million from $45.9 million.
