Interpore International: The Irvine manufacturer of synthetic bone graft materials recorded net income of $127,000, or 2 cents a share, for the third quarter, a 66% drop from the $369,000, or 5 cents a share, for the 1995 third quarter. Sales rose 7% to $4.7 million from $4.4 million. Nine-month net income fell to $419,000, or 6 cents a share, from $1.3 million, or 17 cents a share, for the first three quarters last year. Sales increased 13% to $14.6 million from $12.9 million. David C. Mercer, Interpore’s president and chief executive, attributed the decrease in net income to costs associated with the expansion of the company’s domestic direct sales force and its international sales division, as well as a downtrend in dental revenue.
