Premier Raises Funds

Premier Laser Systems Inc. said it has raised about $9.2 million through its offer of 11,000 units at $1,000 a unit. The company, which makes and markets medical lasers, said it will use proceeds partly to expand marketing and distribution efforts, fund new product introductions, and pay off debts. Each unit in the offering consists of 190 shares of common stock and 95 warrants.
