Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!, Bruce. Thanks for the nice performance in Westwood. But why not add some consistency to the show.

Let’s survey the music profession to see how many female, Chicano and Asian bands get recording contracts compared to white males. Then match this data against their respective histories of discrimination and numbers in the population. Now we can impose a color/sex-based affirmative action program on the music industry. And also, let’s make it retroactive. Beginning, say, in the early ‘70s.

Hope there’s room for you, Bruce Springsteen. I really like your music.
