Coastline Community College has received a $604,103 federal grant to set up literacy programs in the workplace.
Irvine Valley College and Rancho Santiago College in Santa Ana will join Coastline in administering the U.S. Department of Education grant. Matching funds for the project are being provided by 15 companies.
Last year, the program logged more than 17,000 instructional hours.
