Bolsa Grande 40, Industry Workman 40--The Matadors (3-4-1) rallied from a 34-12 deficit, but fell short on a two-point conversion attempt with 2:25 left and settled for a tie with the Lobos (1-6-1) at La Puente High.

Matador quarterback Doug Baughman completed 20 of 37 passes for 273 yards and four touchdowns. His nine-yard touchdown pass to Sam Baeder tied score at 40.
