Long Beach Bestows Cultural Arts Grants

Long Beach’s Public Corp. for the Arts has awarded $242,250 to 29 arts and cultural groups and three individual artists through its Cultural Arts Grants Program, funded by the City of Long Beach.

Among the grantees: the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra ($85,000), Long Beach Opera ($35,000), Long Beach Playhouse ($9,500), Long Beach Museum of Art ($9,000), South Coast Chorale ($6,000) and South Coast Dance Arts Alliance ($2,750).
