Braille Project Gets $113,762 Grant
Cal State Fullerton’s Braille Transcription Center has received a $113,762 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to continue its program of converting printed college handouts to Braille for blind students.
The center transcribes syllabi, handouts and exam materials for blind students of any Cal State University instructor from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. It is open to students and professors three days a week.
