MTI Technology Corp.: The Anaheim data storage products company reported net income of $1.2 million, or 5 cents a share, for the fiscal second quarter ended Oct. 5, contrasted with a net loss of $3.4 million, or 17 cents a share, for the same quarter of the previous year. Revenue increased 6% to $36.5 million from $34.3 million. Net income for the first six months was $1.7 million, or 6 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $7.6 million, or 39 cents a share, for the first half last year. Revenue was up 7% to $72.7 million from $67.9 million.
