Three environmentally minded companies are scheduled to pitch their products to members of Ventura County’s agribusiness community at a breakfast meeting Nov. 12.
The presentation, sponsored by the Pacific Agribusiness Alliance, will discuss the possible agricultural uses of products from three fledgling companies housed within the Thousand Oaks Environmental Business Cluster.
Mike Brock, founder of Naturam Inc., will showcase his company’s fungus-based soil conditioner, which helps growers increase productivity without the use of chemicals.
Marvin Mirror and David Foster of Environmental Products and Technologies Corp. will present their environmentally friendly pest and odor control products.
And Orville Moe of Energy 2000 Inc. will discuss the agricultural uses of fuel cells, a clean-burning energy source that his company markets.
The breakfast meeting will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Radisson Suite Hotel at River Ridge, 2101 W. Vineyard Ave., in Oxnard.
Tickets are $10 for Pacific Agribusiness Alliance members and $15 for nonmembers and should be reserved by Friday. For reservations, call 278-9559, or send a fax to 278-9448.
