Broncos May Hold Elway Out of Practice This Week

Cincinnati offensive lineman Scott Brumfield, who suffered a spinal injury Sunday, still has limited use of his legs but says he is feeling better and believes he’ll play football again.
Brumfield, a four-year veteran, remains at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in fair condition, but could be released as easy as today, said a hospital spokeswoman.

The Miami Dolphins waived veteran center Cal Dixon and signed cornerback Jerry Wilson off the practice squad.
