2,000 Expected at College’s Fall Fair

Orange Coast College’s annual Fall Fair is a campus custom that started nearly three decades ago with a few dozen participants who gathered to share tips on fabrics and crafts.

This year, the popular two-day event is expected to draw more than 2,000 people with workshops on fashion design, quilting, sewing, needle arts and image consulting.

Workshops include Tips for Designers, Speed Tailoring With Ease, Food for Menopause, Sewing for the ‘90s , Creating Award-winning Wearable Art, Perfect Pants and Sewing as a Home-Based Business.

Tickets for the Nov. 16-17 event are available on campus, 2701 Fairview Road, in the career and community education office. Admission in advance is $19 a day or $32 for a two-day pass. Tickets will be $25 a day at the door. Information: (714) 432-5880.
