Rockwell International Corp. said Thursday that it received a contract worth more than $350 million from GEC-Marconi to provide components for a new British anti-armor missile system.

Rockwell said the Brimstone system is a version of the Hellfire missile system used in the United States. Brimstone includes three missiles mounted on a three-rail launcher for use on the Harrier, Tornado and Eurofighter 2000 aircraft.

The contract work will be performed at Rockwell facilities in Duluth, Ga.; El Paso, Texas; and in Britain. GEC-Marconi is a British electrical and electronics group.
