Franklin Telecom Gets Raytheon as New Customer

Franklin Telecom of Westlake Village announced that Raytheon Co. has joined its corporate customer list with an initial order for several dozen ICP Coprocessor Systems.

Raytheon is a key player in a massive governmental program aimed at revamping and updating the U.S. Defense Department and FAA Air Traffic Control Systems.

Franklin sales manager Alan London said October was a record-breaking month in bookings for the company.

"We're struggling to keep pace with orders," London said. "During the last few weeks, we've added personnel in both sales and manufacturing, and we're still fighting to meet delivery dates. We're also seeing our customer base expand with new orders from major customers like Raytheon and U.S. Robotics."

Franklin Telecom designs and manufactures communications devices and software.
