The Regional Center of Orange County is hosting a reception Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Martin Luther Hospital.
The public is invited to meet Regional Center officials and learn about the services the nonprofit organization offers. The Regional Center provides services to about 8,500 Orange County residents who have developmental disabilities.
Services are coordinated for children and adults as well as infants and toddlers who are at risk for developing disabilities.
To qualify, people must have a substantial handicap such as mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy or other neurological problems.
At the reception, in the hospital’s Cafe B, 1830 W. Romneya Drive, near the Riverside Freeway and Euclid Street, officials who serve families living in northern Orange County communities will be present.
