Checkpoint Nets 7 DUI Suspects
Seven people were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence during a sobriety and driver’s license checkpoint Friday night in Oxnard.
Randy Latimer, an Oxnard traffic officer, said 1,418 cars passed through the checkpoint on northbound Oxnard Boulevard, north of 2nd Street, between 6 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday.
