Calabasas 17, Ontario Christian 14--David Rosenburg’s 39-yard field goal as time expired lifted the host Coyotes (8-3).

Calabasas, which finished second in the Frontier League, started its final drive at its own 34 with 3:46 to play. The Coyotes drove 37 yards in 12 plays to set up the game-winning score.

Trailing, 14-0, at halftime, Ontario Christian (7-4) pulled within 14-7 on a 20-yard touchdown run by Ben Goedhart with 3:15 left in the third quarter. Ontario Christian tied the score when Goedhart’s fourth-and-seven pass from the 20-yard line was caught by Tony Giles in the back of the end zone with 9:20 left to play.

Calabasas opened the scoring on a 10-yard run by Kevin Wang midway through the first quarter. Jeff Wilk followed with a 20-yard touchdown run five minutes later.

The touchdown was Wang’s only carry of the game. Wilk rushed two times for 17 yards. Robby Coppola rushed 26 times for 124 yards to lead Calabasas.
