Anaheim Hilton Appoints Assistant Sales Director
* Jennifer Roberson has been appointed assistant director of sales at the Anaheim Hilton and Towers. She has been a sales manager since May. Roberson was previously a sales manager at the Hilton at Walt Disney World Village in Orlando.
* Vikki Perfield has been named account executive at Townsend & O’Leary Inc., a Laguna Hills advertising agency. She joined the agency in 1994 as a media planner. Before that, Perfield was an assistant media planner at DDB Needham Worldwide in Los Angeles.
* Michael Haghighat has joined American Appraisal Associates Inc. as vice president and managing principal of the new Southern California office in Irvine. He was formerly partner-in-charge of business valuation services for the Western region of BDO Seidman, LLP and manager of Business Valuation Services for Coopers & Lybrand, LLP.
* William J. Kadi has been elected president of the California Assn. of Bond Lawyers. He is a partner in the law firm of Bowie, Arneson, Kadi, Wiles & Giannone in Newport Beach.
* James P. Meehan has been named president of the Orange Coast chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Management. He is president of JPM International, a human resources and executive search firm, and chief executive of Performance Strategies Inc. in Mission Viejo.
* Dina P. Gartland has been named manager of business development for Leighton & Associates Inc., an Irvine geotechnical and environmental consulting firm. Before joining the company, she was a senior assistant in the office of Rep. Christopher Cox (R-Newport Beach), where she coordinated public relations, military base closure and tax issues.
* Michael A. Humphreys has been appointed firm administrator in charge of case management and investigations for the law firm of Christine E. Stevens in Newport Beach. Humphreys has worked as an investigator for the past several years in Europe and the Middle East, participating in the recovery of abducted children.
* Hal Clark has joined the board of directors of XCD Inc., a Tustin supplier of network printing products. Clark is the former president of Ingram Micro Inc. He was also president and chief executive of Ameriquest Technologies Inc. and president of Everex Systems.
* Deanna Weatherly has been named director of group/retiree products for Secure Horizons in Cypress, a Medicare-contracting plan. She has been with the company 11 years, most recently leading the development and implementation of the Secure Horizons product in the Western region.
* Bill Larkin has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of sales and marketing for Orthodyne Electronics in Irvine. He had been sales manager for the manufacturer of wire bonding equipment for the semiconductor industry. Larkin has held various management positions within the sales department since 1987.
* Lawrence A. Scott has been named vice president of development for Lincoln Property’s Residential Development division. He had been vice president, business development for Lincoln Residential Services since 1994. Before joining Lincoln, Scott was with American Real Estate Group, a subsidiary of American Savings Bank, where he was vice president/senior asset manager.
* Paul L. Hammann has been appointed vice president-associate senior underwriter for First American Title Insurance Co. in Santa Ana. He joined the company in 1986 as regional counsel and became vice president-Pierce County manager in 1990.
