It will be brother against brother today when the Ducks’ Dmitri Mironov, 30, faces his younger brother, Boris, of the Edmonton Oilers at the Pond.

Boris Mironov, 24, has come into his own this season, and is the third highest-scoring defenseman in the NHL behind the Rangers’ Brian Leetch and Colorado’s Sandis Ozolinsh with 19 points in 21 games.

“He’s gotten more ice time--and it’s the last year of his contract,” Dmitri Mironov said with a smile. Dmitri didn’t practice Saturday because of a sore foot but said he expects to play.

Right wing Roman Oksiuta hasn’t played for two weeks because of an ankle sprain that seems fine one day and has him hobbled the next. Brian Bellows and Steve Rucchin have taken over some of his roles, including his spot on the power play, and Coach Ron Wilson said Oksiuta’s spot in the lineup isn’t being held open for him.
