Rugrats pays tribute to the Jewish Festival of Lights in a special episode that recounts the ancient Hanukkah story (Nickelodeon, Wednesday at 8 p.m.). The gang journeys back to ancient Egypt to assume the role of the “Macababies,” fighting to free their people. For ages 2 to 5.

Jack Taylor saves the small town of Rockville, which is going broke, in Beanstalk (Disney Channel, Thursday at 3 p.m.). Jack discovers a giant bean that grows into a giant beanstalk and becomes a tourist attraction, eventually bringing prosperity to the town. Of course, Jack climbs the beanstalk and discovers you know who. For the family.
