With a late New Year’s Eve show by Sandra Bernhard scheduled, Billboard Live has added an early Dec. 31 show by Poe. Tickets are on sale now. . . . New on sale is an appearance by British studio wizard Tricky, Jan. 25 at the El Rey Theatre. . . . Having for the past 10 years hosted “Fun-Raiser” concerts featuring top L.A. and national alternative acts to support the Hollygrove Orphanage, the Ringling Sisters this year are holding a spoken word event Thursday at the Derby for the same cause. Henry Rollins, Exene Cervenkova, Dave Alvin and Ringling’s Pleasant Gehman and Iris Berry are appearing. In addition to cash donations for admission, people are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys and baby supplies. . . . Also Thursday is a lounge Christmas show at LunaPark with the Wonderful World of Joey, Ann Magnuson, Jigsaw Seen and Kristian Hoffman. . . . Merle Haggard’s show Sunday at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano has been rescheduled for Jan. 31 at the Galaxy Concert Theatre in Santa Ana. Tickets for that show will be honored at the new date as well as at Haggard’s show tonight at the Coach House, which will go on as scheduled.
