Clinton Unhurt in Fall While Jogging
When President Clinton slipped and fell on a slick concrete sidewalk near the Jefferson Memorial along the Potomac River, he was more worried about the mess he would make when he got home. A White House official said he was not injured. “The president seemed more concerned with tracking mud back into the White House than anything else,” said White House spokeswoman Kathy McKiernan. Clinton was immediately helped to his feet by the people accompanying him and resumed running after walking for several minutes. Secret Service Agent Tom Sloan tried to break the president’s fall.
