6 Russians Killed in Chechen Capital
From Times Wire Reports
Six Russian civilians were shot and killed in two homes in Grozny, the Chechen capital, officials said. The victims, ages 30 to 60 and believed to be related, were killed a day after Tuesday’s slayings of six Red Cross workers in a Chechen village. The attacks have cast a shadow on the tenuous peace between Moscow and the separatist republic. The identities and motives of the killers in both attacks are unknown.
