Singing Along to ‘Dalmatians’

Following in the paw prints of Disney’s “101 Dalmatians” live-action movie is its sing-along video, “101 Dalmatians: Pongo & Perdita Sing Along Songs,” $12.99.

The video, Disney’s 19th in its popular series of sing-along titles, features the same Pongo and Perdy (Freckles and Maisey) who star in the film. Other featured celebrity canines include Chance (“Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco”), Barney (“Fluke”) and Enzo, son of Moose (Eddie on NBC’s “Frasier”).

Songs include “Do Your Ears Hang Low,” “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” “Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone?” and “The Bow Wow Ball,” written by Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman, who wrote the Oscar-winning music for “Mary Poppins.”

* “Barney’s Sense-Sational Day” ($14.95, 45 minutes), a Barney Home Video due out Jan. 14 with Jason, Tosha, Carlos and Kim using their imaginations and Barney’s video camera to capture the events of the day.

* “Working It Out,” from PSI Productions, is hailed as a survival guide for children ages 9 to 15. As children grow into their preteen and teen years, they face daily situations that will need to be addressed by themselves, their parents and their peers.
