Simers Hits Chargers With a Cheap Shot

Share

I greatly resent the arrogance and attitude of T.J. Simers (Capsules and Rankings, Dec. 20). I have been a loyal Charger fan since my youth and Simers’ jab at the Chargers only goes to prove how little loyalty he must actually have. Labeling the Chargers as “quitters” was not only a cheap shot but also goes to show just another reason L.A. is NFL-less.

Mr. Simers also fails to mention the Chargers’ schedule was second in strength only to Green Bay’s. Football players, whether they play for the Jets or 49ers, are tough and dedicated professionals who do not know the meaning of the word “quit.” I enjoy the L.A. Times, but please oblige me with a touch more professionalism.
