N.Y. Group to Acquire QSP Assets, Technology

New York-based BEC Group Inc., an optical technologies and sunglass company, has signed a letter of intent to buy certain operating assets and technology from QSP Optical Technology Inc. in Santa Ana. Terms were not disclosed. BEC said the acquisition will allow its Optical Technologies Group to produce its own optical thin films.
