Microsoft Seminars Set

A group of Microsoft Corp. executives is visiting Orange County on Tuesday to meet with local corporate technology executives using some of the Redmond, Wash.-based software giant’s products.

The company is holding two seminars at the Hyatt Regency Irvine. The first, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., will center on Microsoft’s Office 97 software, the imminent upgrade to the company’s popular group of spreadsheet, word processing and other business programs. The topic of the second session, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., is the Internet.

The Microsoft executives scheduled to attend include Rich Tong, vice president of the company’s desktop and business system division; Pascal Martin, group manager of business systems marketing; and Eric Wells, product manager of the company’s desktop application division.
