Share

Squads of volunteers will join City Councilman Richard Alarcon at 10 a.m. today to kick off a voter-registration drive in the Northeast Valley.

Starting this morning, teams of volunteers will staff tables in front of several area businesses each Saturday until the March 10 deadline for Los Angeles’ elections, according to Alarcon aides.

Alarcon, whose office will provide registration materials and coordinate the drive, will also formally launch his reelection campaign for City Council during the event, which will be held at his campaign headquarters, 15600 Roscoe Blvd., Unit 1, in Van Nuys.
