Budding chefs 7 to 10 years old can learn to cook nutritious foods in a hands-on class offered by the city in February and March.

The class, “Healthy Kids Cooking Healthy Foods,” includes nutrition lessons, cooking basics and kitchen experiments. A $45 fee covers four classes, a cookbook, a certificate and food supplies. The classes are Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

The first session begins this week and continues through Feb. 26. The second session will be from March 5 to 26.
