Ulf Dahlen had a goal, Michal Sykora assisted on another score and Chris Terreri had 38 saves as the three ex-Sharks all had a hand in the Chicago Blackhawks’ 4-2 victory over San Jose on Monday night at San Jose.

The three, making their first appearance against their former team since being traded Jan. 25, were sent to Chicago in exchange for goaltender Ed Belfour, who sat out the game because of an injury.

Kelly Hrudey played in place of Belfour. It was Hrudey’s first loss in three starts against Chicago this season.

Ottawa 6, Vancouver 4--Alexei Yashin continued his superb play with a goal and two assists for the Senators at Kanata, Ontario.

After building a 5-1 lead, Ottawa watched as the Canucks chipped within a goal before Alexandre Daigle scored on a breakaway with 1:18 remaining to clinch the game.

Florida 2, Montreal 2--Johan Garpenlov of the Panthers scored with 3:30 left in the third period to tie the score at Montreal.

Garpenlov’s sharp-angled shot from the left side of the net deflected past rookie goaltender Jose Theodore.
