As former President Reagan turns 86 today, folks near Simi Valley will honor his birthday with a raspberry-filled, chocolate and vanilla cake and a 14-foot-long birthday card.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library plans to serve sheet cake to the first several hundred visitors and to let everyone stopping at the museum today sign the massive card, which will be rolled up and given to the ex-president.

The museum also plans to celebrate Presidents’ Day on Feb. 17 with a foot race, Dixieland and barbershop music, presidential look-alikes, storytelling, games and refreshments.
