Bill Holland; Theatrical Manager Throughout Southland

Bill Holland, 65, theatrical manager for 150 productions in Southern California. A native of Onamia, Minn., Holland spent 12 years as production manager and director of operations for the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera at the Music Center and two years as director of operations at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. He held similar positions over the years at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, the Starlight Theatre in San Diego, the Long Beach Civic Light Opera and the Valley Music Theatre. Among the productions he worked on were “Gigi,” “The Music Man,” “Most Happy Fella,” “She Loves Me,” “Annie Get Your Gun,” “Kismet” and “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.” He also did some work with Walt Disney Imagineering. On Jan. 15 in Los Angeles of cancer.
