‘Pillowcase Rapist’ Is Acquitted in Break-In

Reginald Muldrew, the man known as California’s “Pillowcase Rapist” was acquitted on charges of burglary, confinement and robbery in connection with an Aug. 5 break-in at a Gary, Ind., woman’s house. Muldrew, 49, remains in custody, awaiting trial on charges in connection with a June 24 attack in which a woman allegedly was fondled.
