Ticketmaster Helps Promote HIV Testing
Ticketmaster and two actors in the ABC sitcom “Ellen” are joining forces with the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center to sponsor an AIDS awareness campaign.
Ticketmaster is promoting the center’s HIV Testing Day today by distributing 25,000 informational fliers at 28 of its Southern California outlets. The fliers encourage holders to visit the center’s Jeffrey Goodman Special Care Clinic, 2080 Century Park East, in the Century City Hospital, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., where anonymous testing of a new HIV oral antibody test will be given. The testing is free, as it is daily at the center’s headquarters at 1625 N. Schrader Blvd., Hollywood.
Scheduled to visit the clinic today are Joely Fisher (“Ellen’s” best friend Paige) and Patrick Bristow, who plays a recurring gay character on the sitcom.
