Rep. Dreier’s Staff to Set Up Field Office

Foothill area residents of the San Gabriel Valley who have been bombarded with bureaucratic paperwork may find a bit of help Wednesday when staff members of U.S. Rep. David Dreier (R-San Dimas) set up a field office in Monrovia City Hall.
From 9 a.m. to noon, staffers will help residents work through any federal bureaucratic problems they may have, including troubles with the Internal Revenue Service, Social Security and the Immigration and Naturalization Service, said Chris Freeland, an administration assistant in Dreier’s Covina office.
Freeland emphasized that the staffers will not intervene, but will help individuals exercise their rights.
Residents of Dreier’s district, which extends from parts of Pasadena to Claremont and Industry, should bring all relevant letters and records to City Hall at 415 S. Ivy St.
