* Orlando Gallery--One broods, the other snickers in the two-person show now at the gallery. While Myra Gantman’s paintings are darkly mystical, Ronn Davis’ assemblages are crafty and absurdist. What are they doing together? Well, both faithfully heed their respective muses to form a personalized aesthetic. Davis, who exhibited at the now-defunct Mythos Gallery in Burbank last year, continues to make relief sculptures sleekly pieced together from odd materials that end up suggesting human anatomy. Shown above is his “Latter on a Nude.” By contrast, Gantman’s mixed media paintings, under the title “Dreams and Echoes,” have an introspective, moody quality. Myra Gantman, “Dreams and Echoes,” and Ronn Davis “Unlimited Boundaries,” through February at Orlando Gallery, 14553 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks. Hours: Tue.-Sat., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; (818) 789-6012.
