Alliance Imaging Inc.: The Orange company, which provides high-tech medical diagnostic services, posted a profit of $12.8 million, or $1.18 a share, for 1996, including a $6.3-million gain in the fourth quarter related to debt refinancing. It recorded earnings of $4.1 million, or 28 cents a share, for 1995. Revenue rose 18% to $68.5 million from $58.1 million. Fourth-quarter net income totaled $7.8 million, or 80 cents a share, up from $522,000, or 2 cents a share, in the comparable period a year earlier. Revenue increased 41% to $19.4 million from $13.8 million.
