King update--Ray Ferraro moved into a tie with Eddie Olczyk for the team lead in goals with his 20th in the Kings’ 3-0 victory over Vancouver on Saturday. The Kings have won five consecutive games, including a 6-3 win over Edmonton at the Forum last week. Forward Jeff Shevalier has a goal and two assists in his last two games, including an unassisted score against the Canucks. Defenseman Jan Vopat has two goals and two assists in his last four games.

Oiler update--They are coming off a 5-4 loss to Montreal on Saturday and have a 2-6-2 record in their last 10 games. Right winger Andrei Kovalenko is not expected to play tonight because of a hip pointer. Edmonton will get defensemen Bryan Marchment and Boris Mironov back after injuries. The Oilers, rumored to be shopping for a trade for defenseman Luke Richardson, were 1-5-2 in the eight games without Marchment.
