Eltron International Expands Singapore Office

Eltron International in Simi Valley announced that it has expanded its Singapore office, more than tripling the size of its facilities to better serve its growing number of resellers in Asia.

Eltron now offers full technical support and expanded hours of operation and availability in Asia, company officials said.

“We are committed to serving the needs of this important and emerging market for bar-code technology,” said Donald K. Skinner, Eltron chairman and chief executive. “We are very excited about the opportunity represented by our growing number of channel partners in this region and believe that our investment in the Far East will prove to be of high strategic value.”

Eltron International designs and manufactures thermal label and plastic card printers, smart card printing systems, verifiers, software, label media and related accessories used by the health-care, retail, manufacturing, package-delivery, financial-services and security industries.

The company has corporate headquarters in Simi Valley and additional facilities throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.
