“I had the 1995 Long Vineyards Pinot Grigio the other night at dinner, and I was really impressed with it. It was very much on the Sauvignon Blanc order but had a lot of interesting bouquet that I don’t feel is so common in Sauvignon Blanc. It was not necessarily floral but between floral and grassy. It was ready to burst into bloom, as if Sauvignon Blanc could be like a flower.”
