Bridgford Foods’ Income Up 15%

Bridgford Foods Corp., producer of convenience food products, reported that net income for the fiscal first quarter increased 15% to $1.1 million, or 11 cents a share, from $938,869, or 10 cents a share, for the comparable period last year. Sales for the quarter ended Jan. 31 gained 6% to $31.7 million from $29.9 million.
