Entitlements

If I and my wife were making $100,000 a year, I would also have no objection to a decrease of the consumer price index. As it is, we are much closer to the income of the lady who is “barely making it” at $30,000. It is nice to know that [Alan B.] Ungar is apparently well-connected to the upper-income crowd. However, he should try to come down from his ivory tower and see how the people who make $10,000--and sometimes less--a year are scraping by.
